Margaret devotes her practice to bankruptcy. Her long-standing desire and ability to help people successfully navigate through troubled financial periods is honed by years of experience and training. Margaret volunteered at the Lane County Legal Aid Clinic and the Idaho Head Start Program serving low-income children and their families. Margaret is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court of the District of Oregon. She received her B.S. degree from the University of Maryland and graduated from University of Idaho Law School where she was a member of the Law Review. Margaret clerked for the Honorable Mary Ann Bearden, Presiding Judge for Lane County Circuit Court. She spent one year as an associate attorney for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee. Margaret also served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Child Advocacy Section of the Oregon Department of Justice. At home Margaret savors the company of her two wonderful boys. Her hobbies include walking, dancing, gardening and photography.
