At Shlesinger & deVilleneuve, Rebekah focuses on Oregon workers' compensation law including wage loss, all work related injuries, vocational rehabilitation, insurance company denials, and settlement of both disputed and accepted claims.
Rebekah received her B.A. degree in Political Science and Spanish from Indiana University and her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. After law school, Rebekah received a Masters in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon.
Prior to joining the firm, Rebekah served as an AmeriCorps volunteer for Indiana Legal Services where she focused on expanding outreach to low-income Spanish speakers. Her other past work experience includes working as Local Counsel for a national title insurance company and most recently as Assistant General Counsel for the League of Oregon Cities.
Rebekah is admitted to practice law in Oregon and Indiana. She is a member of the Lane County Bar and the Workers Compensation Section of the Oregon State Bar. Rebekah is also an active member of the Oregon State Bar's Public Service Advisory Committee and a volunteer reader for the Start Making a Reader Today program. In her off hours, Rebekah enjoys reading, traveling, running, cooking, and spending time with her husband John.
